Poets Brigade Project

Hello everyone,

I have a new project I would like to present to all of you.
It's a simple project. I pose to create a joint poem.

I would like you all to write a poem about what poetry means to you.

The poem we are creating will be like a person experiencing poetry for the first time.
And to let them know how magical words are and how the art of the spoken word can be created.

Please continue your poem after the following lines:

Come join the poets brigade
to bring poetry to life.



Seeing that this is a joint effort
I am looking for 2 to 6 lines.

The lines don't need to rhyme but if you could have them rhyme that would be great . This little endeavor will take a few months

The submission deadlines are September 28th 2009.
to January 4th 2010.

Please put some thought into this because I know you will.

When sending your submissions for the poem

Please put the subject line poets brigade poem

With your lines please include your full name and town.

I plan on putting all these pieces together and forming one poem.
Please join me and help create a one-of-a-kind piece.
